Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to obtain airport ID, security credentials, and driving privileges.
  • Ability to complete safety, security, HAZMAT, and ramp training.
  • Ability to work safely around aircraft, vehicles, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, efficient ground handling for ramp operations.
  • Assist with aircraft arrival, parking, and departure; marshal aircraft.
  • Load/unload baggage and cargo; transport between locations.
  • Assist passengers and crew, including mobility assistance.
  • Maintain awareness of hazards and report issues promptly.
  • Support snow and ice removal and ramp cleaning as needed.
  • Operate ground-support equipment only when trained and authorized.
  • Travel up to 10% to locations within Alaska as required.
