Job summary

DSV in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a Project Logistics Specialist for the North Slope DPIS office. The role supports receiving, dispatching, control, and visibility of materials for the East–West ice road, with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule.

You will coordinate with LMS Traffic & Logistics, COPA contractors, and yard marshals, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate paperwork. Excellent communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in project management or logistics.
• Experience in transportation and logistics environment is preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily coordination with LMS Traffic & Logistics Specialist in Anchorage on truck arrivals.
• Update COPA contractor on expected arrivals for planning.
• Meet drivers, collect paperwork, and direct offload areas.
• Record PODs and archive in TMS; provide daily On-Hand reports.
• Stock taking (scanning) to update material locations.
• Provide packing lists and coordinate with Expediting Team.
