Job summary

Worley is seeking a Tire Technician for a remote/rotational role based in Prudhoe Bay, AK. You will repair or replace tires on a range of equipment from light vehicles to heavy earth-moving equipment, and you will drive a tire truck to remote work sites.

Expect a demanding Arctic environment with extended work weeks (84 hours). The role includes meals and lodging on location, plus transportation from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay and back, with company benefits such as disability, life insurance,

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of tire repair/replacement experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be covered by Worley insurer.
• NSTC certification training may be provided by Worley.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire repair or replacement on vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Drives a tire truck to remote areas where equipment may be located.
• Uses jacks, hoists, and other lifting devices to raise equipment and replaces wheels; uses tire machines to remove tires from rims.
• Performs tire repairs and balancing as required.
• Prepares inventory of repaired flats on rims for reuse on site or in the field.
• Works with Parts department and Tire Technicians on maintaining new tire inventory.
