Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company seeks a Senior Project Supervisor to lead contract crews, heavy equipment and crane operators at remote North Slope sites, ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence.

You will oversee field construction, install process equipment, pipelines and facilities, manage bids and coordination with engineers and operations, and travel to remote locations in arctic conditions.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years minimum experience in maintenance, welding, and/or electrical operations of oil and gas production field equipment.
• Experience supervising at least two multidiscipline capital projects with a TIC of $5 million or more each, in a supervisor role.
• Ability to work a 14/14 day on/off 12 hour shift or similar schedule.
• Ability to proactively identify and remove obstacles.
• Strong communication skills to convey urgency and attention to detail regarding daily activities while adhering to safety practices, quality management, and budget requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Teams/Outlook/Excel/Project/PowerPoint).
• Ability to interpret project schedules, cost control reports, and invoicing.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations and work in arctic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises contract crews, electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil projects including installing process equipment, pipelines, and support infrastructure.
• Oversees setup, operation, and repair of oil field machines and equipment; adjusts controls to meet specs.
• Provides visible leadership to operations and construction crews in the field; emphasizes safety.
• Manages scope, budget, and schedule of projects; prepares estimates and bid packages; evaluates bids with project teams.
• Develops and implements project execution strategies in collaboration with discipline engineers and operations.
• Maintains communication between field, project team, and management; handles on-site challenges in a remote environment.
• Makes frequent field visits to provide leadership and identify cost-saving and quality improvements.
• Acknowledges and adheres to company values and conduct guidelines.
