Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company on Alaska's North Slope is seeking an experienced oilfield operator to monitor and operate gas processing and reinjection facilities, surface equipment, pumps, turbines, valves, and piping. You will follow SOPs, use the AVEVA DCS, perform readings, inspections, and recordkeeping.

The role requires five years of oilfield experience, a 14 on/14 off rotation with 12-hour shifts, strong safety focus, teamwork, and ability to work in Arctic conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of oilfield experience.
• Ability to work a 14 on/14 off rotation with 12-hour shifts.
• Performs routine duties with minimal supervision.
• Familiar with gas processing and reinjection facilities operations and integration into North Slope production.
• Ability to work independently, anticipate and correct problems.
• Maintains safe, environmentally sound operations and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate equipment and systems for natural gas processing, NGL production, miscible injection, and gas reinjection.
• Inspect equipment for safety, leaks, wear, and damage; troubleshoot malfunctions and recommend repairs.
• Generate repair requests and procure materials for daily tasks.
• Record readings, flare reports, and safety inspections; maintain logs.
• Follow SPCC plan and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Operate AVEVA DCS and SOPs to start/stop equipment and manage process control.
• Maintain Fire and Gas safety systems and respond to alarms.
• Collaborate with team; participate in Emergency Response Team as needed.
