Job summary

Fairweather has a Willow WTI Facility Engineer position located in Anchorage, Alaska, supporting the Willow Engineering & Systems Integration Team. The role focuses on surface engineering and planning for development drilling, frac, flowback and well tie-ins to facilities, with SIMOPS planning and optimization.

The role is based in Anchorage with potential travel to the North Slope and other sites starting in Q1 2027.

Qualifications

  • US work authorization required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
  • 3+ years of North Slope facilities experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically to North Slope and other locations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of 90-day field execution plan for Willow drilling.
  • Technical and financial evaluation of surface facilities scope for tie-ins and infrastructure.
  • Assist design and build out of Willow WTI well delivery organization; interface with base business units.
  • Identify mitigations for execution threats; capitalize on opportunities and lessons learned.
  • Collaborate with Willow functions and AKBU Wells team to deliver 2027 drilling, frac, and flowback programs.
