Job summary

ASRC Energy Services is seeking a Drilling Materials Specialist to lead material activities for drilling operations on the North Slope. You will work with ConocoPhillips planners, ice road crews, and field crews to ensure timely material fulfillment and safe operations.

In this role you will create SAP material requisitions, oversee inventories, and develop SOPs to improve efficiency. A 2x2 or 3x3 rotation is required in a remote Arctic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Drilling/Materials with knowledge of materials management and drilling inventory.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily drilling material activities with the drilling coordinator, warehouseman/expediter, ice road support crews, loader operators, and truck drivers.
• Collaborate in a team-oriented environment to ensure success.
• Support Kuparuk/WNS drilling ops with focus on locally based rigs, well work needs, Roads and Pads, and third-party contractors.
• Coordinate with ConocoPhillips planners and engineers to identify material requirements and manage annual ice road re-supply.
• Monitor downhole well completions and schedules to ensure materials are available and reconcile inventories.
• Create material requisitions in SAP and manage inventories.
• Develop or update SOPs related to drilling organization.
• Prioritize tasks, multitask, delegate, and direct duties to crew members.
