Job summary

Worley seeks a Project Crane Operator for a remote Arctic construction project in Alaska. You will operate diverse crane equipment, perform safety inspections, and coordinate lifts with site foremen on a typical 84-hour workweek. Meals, lodging, and transportation to Prudhoe Bay are provided.

Required NCCCO crane operator certification, NSTC training is available, and a high school diploma or GED is expected. Prior experience with multiple crane types is preferred.

Qualifications

  • NCCCO certification for Crane Operator with TSS & TLL.
  • Two years of experience operating boom trucks, rough terrain cranes, pedestal, truck, crawler, tower cranes, derricks or side booms.
  • High school diploma or GED; NSTC certification training available.

Responsibilities

  • Operate crane equipment including boom trucks, rough terrain, pedestal, truck, crawler, tower cranes, derricks and side booms.
  • Ensure lifting equipment is inspected and compliant with OSHA and Hilcorp policies.
  • Develop and coordinate lifts with area authority and foreman.
  • Pre-check and inspect all equipment before operation and monitor gauges and safety systems.
  • Check operation logs and document pre-operation notes.
  • Notify foremen of faulty equipment and tag out for repairs.
  • Attend training sessions and toolbox talks on safety and procedures.
  • Ensure daily, monthly, and annual certifications are maintained.
