Overview

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking an Architectural Project Manager - Data Centers to join our Client Programs Market team in any of our US offices, including Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Seattle, WA; Albany, NY; and Phoenix, AZ. This role offers the opportunity to work on global and national building programs, focusing on project and client leadership through all design and delivery phases.

The Project Manager will lead project teams through all phases of execution, including contract management, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration. Responsibilities also include managing schedules, financial performance, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring MG2's standards for design excellence and serving as the primary communication point for projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams across all phases, ensuring deliverables meet contractual, schedule, quality, and budget standards.
• Secure necessary contracts before starting project work.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and staffing plans.
• Create detailed Project Charters and QA/QC plans.
• Assist with project proposals and RFP responses as needed.
• Monitor financial status and conduct financial reviews.
• Review invoicing and billing processes.
• Produce and distribute weekly project updates and reports.
• Lead project meetings internally and externally.
• Participate in Quality Control procedures.
• Oversee construction administration activities, including site visits and review of reports and punch lists.
• Conduct project debriefs and manage project close-out procedures.
• Manage resources, ensure quality and profitability, and oversee team performance with regular feedback.
• Perform monthly check-ins and annual performance reviews for team members (People Managers).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in architecture or design firms.
• Licensure and certification preferred.
• Experience leading teams through all project phases.
• Knowledge of architectural contracts and procedures.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, and collaboration tools like Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Professional expertise with Data Centers is required.
• Strong English comprehension for communication and documentation.

Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $152,000 annually, depending on qualifications.
