Job summary

Ware Malcomb, a dynamic design firm, seeks a Project Manager to deliver innovative design projects for diverse clients through all phases. You will lead internal and external teams, manage budgets and work plans, and oversee contract documents.

As the primary client contact, your leadership and exceptional service ensure project success. The role requires overseeing schedules, consultants, and procurement, with growth opportunities within a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Architecture.
• Diverse commercial experience including Industrial, office, and/or retail projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• AutoCAD and Revit skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate project phases from concept to construction services.
• Prepare the project schedule and update it weekly.
• Discuss project health with operations leadership.
• Alert appropriate managers to changing project conditions.
• Maintain and update the project planner for staffing meetings.
• Issue add services and obtain approvals for new scope.
• Coordinate with design resources and consultants.
• Provide construction services including site visits and shop review of drawings.
• Coordinate contracts and consultant teams for successful execution.
• Represent Ware Malcomb in design review or development meetings as required.
• Mentor junior project members and assist in proposals.
