Architecture Practice Manager - Remote

Job Description

The Architect Practice Manager is primarily responsible for managing the execution of the processes that comprise Prime’s Architecture Practice. This includes defining and orchestrating architecture processes and procedures, communicating these processes for awareness and understanding, creating and reporting metrics, and driving support and integration throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Define and orchestrate Architecture governance processes and the Architecture Review Board (ARB), including integration with enterprise governance, vendor management, and SDLC, and manage Architecture Office scorecards and metrics.
  • Manage and improve the Enterprise Architecture repositories (ServiceNow, SharePoint) and integrated repositories (Configuration Management Database).
  • Collaborate with Business, IT, and service leaders to ensure effective engagement and satisfaction with Architecture processes.
  • Identify and manage practice improvement opportunities to continually enhance architecture practices.
  • Manage architecture RFP content, responses, and controls related to industry standards like SOC2 and HITRUST.
  • Lead annual updates and communication of foundational architecture guidance (principles, standards, patterns, blueprints).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 7 years of related experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, System or Solution Architecture, including 2 years in an Architect role.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Enterprise or Solution Architecture management.
  • Project management discipline experience for practice improvement.
  • Ability to work with senior IT and Business leaders and apply enterprise processes effectively.
  • Expertise in process development, measurement, governance, and organizational application.
  • Strong self-management skills in high-priority, ambiguous situations.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels, from executives to individual contributors.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and build consensus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing Enterprise Architecture tools, especially ServiceNow.
  • Healthcare industry experience, including PBM.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MIS, etc.).
  • Previous roles as architect, IT manager, or project/program manager.
Physical Demands
  • Remain stationary for 50% of the time; capable of movement and traversing.
  • Operate a computer and office equipment constantly.
  • Hear and communicate effectively; exchange accurate information.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time.

Employees must adhere to security responsibilities and all legal, regulatory, and internal policies.

Potential pay ranges from $124,000 to $211,000 based on experience.
