Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking Architecture Interns for Summer 2026 in Nashville, TN or Knoxville, TN. You will support designers by delivering project work and collaborating with the team on new ideas, while gaining hands-on experience in construction, expansions, renovations, and wayfinding projects.

This paid internship is full-time (40 hours/week) and in-person. Eligibility includes pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and being at least 18.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited university.
• Preference will be given to students that do not require sponsorship.
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
• You must be at least 18 years of age.

Do you want to gain experience while learning from great mentors and leaders in your field? Barge Design Solutions is looking for someone like you to intern with us next summer

Location: Nashville, TN or Knoxville, TN

Number of positions available: 2

Schedule: Summer 2026

You will be involved in the following types of projects:

• Construction, expansions and renovations serving healthcare, industrial, parks and recreation, and projects that support water services
• Wayfinding for facilities

You will make an impact by:

• Supporting designers in completing project deliverables
• Collaborating with team members on new ideas/innovations
• Researching industry trends
• Contributing to client presentations

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited university
• Preference will be given to students that do not require sponsorship
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
• You must be at least 18 years of age.

Additional Details:

• This is a paid internship working fulltime hours (40) per week.
• This is an in-person work opportunity.
• Intern/co-op students are not eligible for company benefits.
• Housing assistance is not provided.
