Job summary

Salt Lake Community College (UT) seeks a part-time support assistant for the Division of Visual Art & Design-Architecture/Interior Design at the Taylorsville campus. The role includes secretarial tasks, front-desk assistance, and classroom support in the Technology Building.

You will help with documentation, inventory, and student registration processes while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with office/customer service experience.
• Minimum GPA 2.0 and enrolled as a student.
• Registered for fall and spring semesters and Work Study eligible.
• Experience/Proficiency in Adobe, AutoDesk, SketchUp and/or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Provide office and front-desk support for division.
• Answer calls, direct traffic, field inquiries from students, staff and faculty.
• Create and maintain documents and records, assist with bookkeeping.
• Track textbook inventories and assist with student registrations.
• Maintain orderly classrooms and labs, safeguard confidential information.
• Assist with tutoring and general department duties as needed.
