Zusammenfassung

DiClemente Siegel Design Inc. in Southfield, MI seeks an experienced Architecture Department Head to lead a 6–10 person studio, set technical direction, and seal work as Architect of Record.

You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver integrated, full‑service A/E projects. You will drive quality, profitability, and client partnerships from programming through closeout, while mentoring staff and upholding design excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited program; Registered Architect (RA) in Michigan.
• 20+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years managing an architectural team, studio, or department.
• Deep understanding of construction documents, building codes, and advanced project delivery; proficient in governing Revit/BIM 360 environments and Navisworks workflows.
• Willingness to travel regionally to client sites and conduct professional field observations.

Aufgaben

• Lead architecture staff, including workload, reviews, and mentoring.
• Partner with internal Mechanical and Electrical heads to streamline collaboration and resolve complex building-system conflicts.
• Establish, evolve, and enforce BIM/Documentation standards; review code and field conditions; seal documents as Architect of Record.
• Own primary client relationships from programming through closeout; prepare proposals, scoping, and schematic design presentations.
• Guard overall project quality, profitability, and schedules from programming through construction administration.
