You will help define problem space, develop implementation plans, and mentor a diverse staff of engineers, analysts, and modelers.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, 10+ years in relevant domains, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline, science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in space, intelligence, and/or defense domains.
• Experience initiating and leading project teams, developing project plans, identifying high-impact deliverables, and managing schedule commitments.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 5–10%.
• Current active U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in managing the Architecture Concepts Department and staff.
• Serve as focal point for program office inquiries and shape problem statements and implementation plans.
• Build and mentor staff, hire interns and early-career personnel as needed.
• Direct technical activities and lead architecture conceptualization, assessment, and modeling efforts.
• Steer department strategy and pursue opportunities for new business.
