Job summary

Steelcase is seeking an Architecture & Design Manager in Connecticut to connect with architects, designers, and dealer partners, bringing the Steelcase portfolio to life across New England.

You will be a go-to resource on workplace trends, support client projects, and help shape the future of work, with regional travel within CT and RI.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience selling to or working within the design community.
  • Industry experience (dealer/design/sales).
  • Ability to travel regionally within Connecticut and Rhode Island.
  • Located in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

  • Develop close relationships with designers and design firms at multiple levels to uncover new opportunities.
  • Leverage Steelcase research and product to educate and inform design firms of trends and shifts related to people and place.
  • Foster a strong partnership with our two local dealers on design community marketing and branding strategies.
  • Engage with the regional Steelcase team to bring in additional insights and perspectives when beneficial.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Experience selling to or working within the design community with broad exposure and understanding of the design process
  • Industry experience ie: dealer side, design firm side, rep side, sales side.
  • Ability to travel regionally within Connecticut and Rhode Island
  • Located in Connecticut

In compliance with pay transparency laws, the annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 - $187,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Steelcase considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
