University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an Associate Director of Academic Advising in the Dept of Architecture. The role focuses on the student experience for the M.Arch program, advising, scheduling, and coordinating admissions and PhD administrative support.

The position collaborates with faculty and School leadership to enhance advising initiatives and connect students with campus resources. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of relevant experience is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in an academic or higher education setting, particularly in an advising or student-facing role, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Penn policies, procedures, and administrative systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates the student experience for Master of Architecture students in the Department of Architecture and serves as primary resource for advising and academic planning.
• Leads advising and registration, including developing schedules, processing prerequisites, and assisting with graduation audits and degree requirements.
• Coordinates admissions processes, reviews applications, tracks admissions information, and assists with matriculation of incoming students.
• Supports the Architecture PhD program administrative and academic coordination, tracking progress and connecting candidates to resources.
