Job summary

Olson Kundig seeks a Graphic Designer to create visual materials that support the firm's business development and communications efforts. The role reports to the Marketing Manager, Business Development, and works closely with the visual media team, business development team, communications team, and firm leadership.

Now in its sixth decade of practice, Olson Kundig is a collaborative design practice with projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of graphic design experience in print, digital, and web graphics.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Strong design, typographic, and layout skills for complex content.
• Experience with image and video editing and retouching.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and OpenAsset.
• Familiarity with print vendors and production processes, a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management, deadline-driven.
• Interest in architecture, design, and the built environment.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and collaborative with feedback from multiple levels.
• Dependable and able to stay current on production techniques and trends.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce proposals, statements of qualifications, portfolios, and case studies.
• Develop interview presentations, display boards, and pursuit collateral with the team.
• Create diagrams, maps, and information graphics to communicate ideas.
• Maintain and update proposal templates and graphic standards.
• Design graphics for award submissions, lectures, publications, and media kits.
• Create social graphics, email communications, and newsletters; include animation/video assets.
• Support presentation materials for firm leadership; assist with video editing as needed.
• Contribute to books, exhibitions, and environmental graphics.
• Upload, tag, rank, and organize assets in the DAM system.
• Coordinate photoshoots, develop shot lists, and assist with post-shoot selection.
• Perform image editing, retouching, and maintain archives of originals.
• Coordinate with vendors for business cards, stationery, and collateral.
• Help maintain graphics team tools and processes, including task boards and punchlists.
