Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking an Architectural Technical Designer in Grand Rapids, MI. You will collaborate with the design team during programming and conceptual phases, supporting the project architect across design development and construction documents, and coordinating with engineers to ensure design accuracy.

The role requires at least 2 years of architectural experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Revit, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Master of Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of architectural experience.
  • Actively pursuing AXP hours and architectural licensure.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Revit.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple deadlines.

Working with our Architectural team, you will assist project architects throughout the design, programming, and conceptual phases. You will also work alongside multidisciplinary professionals on ensuring design accuracy, as well as integration.

What You’ll Do
