Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. seeks an Architectural Team Leader in Coral Gables, FL for hybrid work. You will lead a small team of architects, guide project delivery, ensure QA/QC, and coordinate between team and discipline leadership. Requires architectural licensure or progress toward licensure and a track record of leadership.

You will also mentor staff, participate in interviews, and support business development while managing workload against plan and schedule. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum six years of professional architectural experience.
• Minimum two years of progressive leadership or team coordination experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural design and technical work while providing oversight of team deliverables.
• Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert, supporting project teams and architectural needs.
• Review architectural documents and deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Support QA/QC processes and architectural best practices.
• Assist with technical problem solving and project objectives.
• Support proposal development, including scope definition and staffing input.
• Contribute to client coordination and business development efforts.
• Track and communicate plan versus actual performance related to scope and schedule.
• Provide daily supervision, guidance, and motivation to architectural team members.
• Mentor and coach team members, supporting skill development and career progression.
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members.
