Job summary

Woolpert seeks an Architectural Team Leader to provide day-to-day technical and people leadership for a small architectural team while continuing to contribute to project delivery. The role is a hybrid position based in the Coral Gables, Florida office, coordinating between the team and discipline leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of six (6) years of professional architectural experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of progressive leadership or team coordination experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and oversee team deliverables.
• Act as technical resource and SME for project teams and architectural practice needs.
• Review documents and deliverables for quality and adherence to standards.
• Support QA/QC processes and architectural best practices.
• Assist with problem-solving and resolution of project issues.
• Contribute to proposals, including scope definition and staffing input.
• Coordinate with clients and support business development efforts.
• Monitor plan-versus-actual performance for scope, schedule, and workload.
• Lead and coach team members; participate in onboarding of new hires.
