Job summary

Sierra Pacific Windows is seeking an Architectural Consultant to cover Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and surrounding markets. You will drive sales, build relationships with architects and firms, and present products including AIA accredited content.

Travel is required, and expertise in fenestration helps maximize project specifications. Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree or related field, strong communication, and a proven ability to interpret construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field is required or preferred.
• Strong presenting and negotiation abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organization.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Collaborative, positive attitude, and team-oriented.
• Fenestration product knowledge is a plus.
• Relationships in the local architectural community are a plus.
• Strong computer and mathematics skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by identifying opportunities, developing relationships, building brand awareness and promoting Sierra Pacific Windows products.
• Develop and maintain long-term beneficial relationships with Architects, Architectural Firms and key accounts.
• Conduct product and AIA accredited presentations for the architectural and design communities.
• Be a consultant and expert on all products manufactured by Sierra Pacific Windows.
• Provide technical information and write specifications with objective of increased sales.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Participate in industry trade shows and networking events.
• Use bid search tools and CRM as directed by management.
• Travel is required.
