Job summary

Gilder Search Group is helping a well‑established architecture and design firm recruit an Architectural Project Manager to lead restaurant and hospitality projects, including franchises, from Chicago.

You will manage design development through construction documents, coordinate project teams, monitor budgets and schedules, maintain client relationships, and liaise with authorities to ensure quality and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of North American architectural experience with project management.
• Association registration is an asset; PMP is a plus.
• Experience with mid to large franchise projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development through construction documents and construction period services.
• Coordinate project teams, conduct site visits, and manage client relationships.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and scope changes; liaise with authorities.
• Review deliverables for quality and ensure contractual obligations are met.
