Job description

TalentWoo is conducting a confidential search for an established, growing architectural practice in the Denver Tech Center area seeking an Architectural Project Manager to join its team.

The firm has a strong pipeline of hospitality work, including new hotel construction, renovations, conversions and prototype-driven projects throughout the U.S., along with projects in other commercial sectors.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced architectural professional who wants more ownership and hands-on involvement than is often possible at a larger firm.

The Role

This is not a PM position where you simply attend meetings and delegate production.

You’ll manage projects while remaining directly involved in Revit, construction documents and technical coordination, taking projects from design through permitting and construction administration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple architectural projects and project schedules
  • Work hands-on in Revit and oversee complete CD packages
  • Coordinate structural, MEP, civil and other consultants
  • Lead client and consultant meetings
  • Manage permitting and respond to plan-review comments
  • Review RFIs, shop drawings and submittals
  • Perform QA/QC and resolve technical/coordination issues
  • Mentor and review the work of junior staff
What We’re Looking For
  • Approximately 7–10+ years of professional architectural experience
  • Advanced Autodesk Revit proficiency — this is essential
  • Experience managing architectural projects and consultant teams
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, detailing, codes and accessibility
  • Comfortable being both a Project Manager and hands-on architectural producer
  • Hospitality/hotel experience is strongly preferred. Multifamily experience is also highly transferable.
  • Architectural licensure is not required, although licensed candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered toward the higher end of the compensation range.
Why Consider It?

This is a small, collaborative practice where you'll have direct exposure to clients, principals and major project decisions rather than being siloed into one piece of the process.

There is also a meaningful long-term career path for the right person, with potential progression into Senior Project Manager, Associate Principal and ultimately Principal-level leadership.

Benefits include health insurance, contributing 401(k), annual performance-based bonus, flexible hours, limited remote flexibility and reimbursement for successfully completed ARE licensing exams.
