Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Architecture team to support multi-discipline design and project execution from scope development through complete design packages.

You will assist Project Managers, coordinate schedules and budgets, and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors. Travel may be required. We value collaboration, clear communication, and attention to detail, with opportunities for growth within the architecture practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in architecture or related field.
• CAPM certification encouraged.
• At least 1 year as an Architect or 3 years related experience.
• Travel required.
• Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CADD.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Project Managers with day-to-day project tasks, staffing to fee, work plans, schedules, budgets, etc.
• Assist in preparing project plans, budgets, control procedures, etc.
• Manage one to two discipline "small" projects under supervision.
• Audits client billings for PM approval.
• May be the primary communication link between project teams, consultants and outsourcing partners.
• Follows established procedures to administer project activities (cost estimating, docs controls, etc.).
• Communicates client requirements to each discipline.
• Participates in client meetings and proposes preparation.
• Assist in logging RFIs, submittals, filing and weekly project reports.
• Coordinate meetings and document control with client, contractors, regulators and others.
