Job summary

Kamen Tall Architects P.C. seeks an Assistant Architectural Project Manager for a full-time, hybrid role based in New York, NY, with some flexibility to work from home.

You will support PMs and SPMs across schematic design to construction administration and closeout, bringing strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving to a collaborative team. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture or related field, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant architectural project management experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, Engineering, or related field. A Master's in Historic Preservation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs and SPMs in management and execution of architectural projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, and ensure milestones, budget, and deadlines are met.
• Prepare and revise drawings, construction documents, and specifications; assist with regulatory filings (NYC DOB, LPC).
• Observe site conditions, document field observations, and support site inspections.
• Sketch and draft site plans, elevations, and details with building construction knowledge.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with project filings and ensure compliance with local codes and filing deadlines.
• Foster collaboration across internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
