Job summary

Konik is seeking an Architectural Owner’s Representative - Project Manager to lead high-visibility capital projects in the Southwestern Suburbs of Minnesota. This onsite role represents the owner through programming, design, permitting, construction support, and project closeout.

You will supervise external architecture and engineering consultants, drive quality, schedule, and budget alignment, and ensure operational success from the owner's perspective.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of architectural project leadership experience.
• Licensure preferred.
• Experience managing external architecture and engineering firms.
• Strong knowledge of permitting and building codes.
• Experience evaluating design quality, schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct outside architectural, engineering, commissioning, and specialty consulting partners.
• Lead projects through programming, design, permitting, construction, and final closeout activities.
• Facilitate design reviews to ensure alignment with operational requirements, design standards, and business objectives.
• Monitor consultant performance, project milestones, contract deliverables, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate decisions among internal stakeholders, contractors, project teams and permitting agencies.
• Review drawings and design packages for constructability, completeness, functionality, and cost impacts.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, change orders, risks, and overall project performance while providing leadership-level updates.
