Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Estimator for Architectural Metals to join our growing team. You will review bid opportunities, prepare takeoffs and cost estimates, analyze plans and specs, and assemble thorough bid packages for clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating in architectural metals (metal roofing, ACM panels, cladding) with strong reading of drawings, cost analysis, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating in architectural metals (roofing, ACM panels, cladding).
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review bid opportunities and advise on bid selections.
• Attend pre-bid site meetings to prepare estimates.
• Analyze project plans, specs and details.
• Analyze project financials and labor costs.
• Prepare thorough bid packages for clients.
• Prepare takeoffs/estimates of materials, labor and equipment.
• Prepare and follow-up on quotes.
• Maintain relationships with strategic accounts.
• Review contracts and quotes for accuracy.
• Prepare supplier directory and review products used in projects.
