Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals is seeking an Estimator III to prepare production cost estimates and quotes for diverse, high-value projects. This role involves pricing from architectural plans, interpreting specifications, and acting as a SME for selected product lines.

You may lead the Estimating effort for strategic accounts and collaborate with engineering, PM, and sales to deliver effective solutions. Requires a technical background, strong costing experience, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Technical degree or related experience preferred.
• At least five years of related cost estimating experience.
• Proficient in pricing processes and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular production cost estimates and bids for projects.
• Interpret architectural plans and specifications for pricing.
• Lead Estimating for strategic projects or large-volume customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management and sales on solutions.
• Maintain and revise cost data as conditions change.
