Job summary
Reveal Design Group is seeking an Architectural Lighting Designer to join our NYC Chelsea studio. You will contribute across multiple projects, producing CAD and Revit documentation, loading schedules, and specification packages while applying photometric calculations and coordination sketches from redlines.
You’ll research fixture options, gather technical documentation, and collaborate with renowned architects and interior designers.
Qualifications
- Entry level to 4 years in architectural or theatrical lighting design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Familiarity with AGi32 or other photometric calculation software is a plus.
- Degree in Architectural Lighting, Theatrical Design, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Produce CAD and Revit documentation.
- Develop fixture and load schedules.
- Compile specification packages.
- Perform photometric calculations in AGi32.
- Generate coordination sketches from redlines.
- Research fixture options and gather technical documentation.
- Work with renowned architects and interior designers.
- Take on greater ownership of project segments.
