Job summary

Archinect seeks a Designer and PM for a progressive, design-forward architectural lighting firm in NYC. The ideal candidate is an Architect, Interior Designer, or recent Graduate with a passion for lighting. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, requiring skills in Revit, InDesign, and Adobe.

POSITION

Designer and PM for progressive design-forward NYC-based Architectural Lighting Design firm headed by an Industry Leader

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Architect, Interior Designer, Lighting Designer or Illumination Engineer (or recent Graduate of all) with an innate appreciation for the role of lighting in the built environment with a desire to work on visible projects across the country and abroad.

Candidate will possess design and problem‑solving skills, have proficiency in multiple visual presentation and documentation platforms. Positions exist for both the creative and technical‑minded. We seek a highly organized, self‑motivated rapid‑learner with acute attention to detail. Prior experience in the Lighting Design field is not required.

KEY SKILLS

Revit, InDesign, Adobe, MSOffice Suite required. Rhino, Sketch‑Up, AGi desirable.

OFFICE

Work closely with firm Principal in an atelier environment for broad array of projects including base building, institutional, retail/hospitality, corporate, residential, master‑planning, houses of worship and others.
