Job summary

GBA in Lenexa, KS seeks an Architect Intern (Life Sciences) to support design teams on diverse projects, from corporate offices to pharmaceutical facilities. You will assist Project Architects, create details, and help maintain meeting notes and files.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in an accredited Architecture program (junior year preferred), can demonstrate strong design capabilities, and has some experience with AutoCAD and Revit. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Architecture program (Junior year preferred).
• Ability to demonstrate strong design capabilities.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Previous internship experience (a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide design support to Project Architects and other team members.
• Create and edit project-specific details.
• Assist with maintaining project files and notes from meetings.
• Gain exposure to projects including corporate offices, pharmaceutical clean rooms, R&D/QA labs, fleet maintenance, and industrial/manufacturing spaces.
• Other duties as assigned.
