Job summary

GBA Companies invites motivated engineering students to join the Life Sciences team in Lenexa, KS as Electrical Engineering Interns. You will help prepare construction documents for mechanical and electrical systems and review shop drawings and RFIs.

You will assist with permitting, code verifications, and facility engineering studies while collaborating with architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, and project managers on bio-pharma projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Finished at least two years of school; internship preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing construction documents for various systems.
• Review of shop drawings and RFIs.
• Verification of permitting and code requirements.
• Facility evaluations and engineering studies.
• Trouble shooting and commissioning.
• Other duties as assigned.
