Job summary

Dominium is seeking a full-time Spring 2027 Architecture Intern to join our Dallas Regional Office for an on-site internship from January 7, 2027 to May 21, 2027. The intern will support the Architecture Team with production drawings, design materials, and research on building products and systems, gaining hands-on experience in design, documentation, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field, or completed within 12 months.
• Foundational knowledge of architectural design principles, building systems, materials, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to prepare and revise drawings and models under supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication and collaboration.
• Organize work and meet deadlines with guidance.
• Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with sustainable design and willingness to learn new tools.
• Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/SketchUp is a plus.
• Interest in multifamily development and affordable housing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and revision of production drawings and construction documents.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials.
• Incorporate markups and revisions into architectural documents.
• Evaluate technical and design solutions related to building systems and materials.
• Research building products and sustainable design options.
• Support construction administration activities and document review.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, and records; provide admin support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on project coordination.
• Maintain timely attendance.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
