Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Architecture Intern to collaborate with project teams of architects, designers and engineers on a variety of projects including corporate, healthcare, research, institutional, and government sectors. The role focuses on design, construction documentation and specification development.

You will assist in developing solutions to technical problems, participate in client presentations, programming, shop drawing review and construction administration, and contribute

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field; NAAB accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in a related field and in good standing.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
