Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Dallas seeks an Architecture Intern to collaborate with project teams of architects, designers and engineers on a wide range of projects. You will contribute to design development, construction documentation and specification writing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Architecture with strong academic performance.
• NAAB accreditation strongly preferred for program relevancy.
• Enrolled and in good standing in related post-secondary program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred to demonstrate academic ability.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience is a plus.
• Active involvement in campus or community activities can support candidacy.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist design teams with development and documentation for projects.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications under supervision.
• Support client presentations and design reviews as needed.
• Assist in programming, shop drawings review and construction administration.
• Help solve technical design challenges and contribute to project solutions.
