Sika Corporation seeks an Architectural Technical Specialist to join our Facades Sales Team. This role develops product specifications, delivers technical support, and educates specifiers on building products to drive market growth.

The successful candidate will lead training for sales teams and customers, build strong customer relationships, coordinate field testing, and support new product launches across multiple territories with travel of about 50–75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related building products.
• 5+ years of experience in Facades-based products.
• Sales experience in the construction industry.
• Proven track record reviewing, creating, and updating specifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Direct experience with customers and field situations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth through customer training, Lunch & Learns, demos, and promotions.
• Coordinate and deliver hands-on product training for sales teams and customers.
• Build strong customer relationships to expand market presence and product specifications.
• Lead field testing and support successful new product launches with Product Marketing.
• Support assigned territories with effective time management, including site visits.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to maximize aligned execution and market impact.
• Ensure technical accuracy of literature and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Provide technical support for internal/external projects while exercising sound business judgment.
