Job summary

Archinect is seeking a part-time draftsperson for an in-office role in New York City. The candidate will produce detailed drawings, draft schematic designs, survey existing conditions, and coordinate with outside collaborators, contractors, and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Architecture (or related design degree), demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite, and communicates clearly while managing priorities to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture required; other design degrees considered.
• AutoCAD proficiency with layer management, xrefs, sheet sets, and dimensioning.
• Ability to translate sketches and revisions into finished drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organized and deadline-driven.
• Experience with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Suite.
• In-office, NYC-based; authorized to work in the U.S.
