Job summary

Charter Homes & Neighborhoods is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join our Architecture Team in Lancaster, PA. You will translate concepts and sketches into precise models using Revit or AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with design and structural standards and collaborating across teams to produce final plans for the Homebuilding Team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial architectural drafting.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ability to translate concepts into precise layouts.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts, sketches, and designs into models that meet design and structural standards.
• Ensure models meet prescribed standards and are finalized for use by Homebuilding Team.
• Iterate models with Architecture Team to support final plan production.
• Document all necessary information for the drafting process.

We are looking for a talented Architectural Drafter to join our growing company as a member of our Architecture Team. As a Charter Homes and Neighborhoods Team member, you will play an important role in helping us make our mark by setting a new standard for how our country looks and people live, making them feel special by building homes and neighborhoods with character that they will truly love.

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial architectural drafting, responsible for delivering complete architectural plans on schedule and according to standards.

Key job Activities

As an Architectural Drafter you will use architectural software like Revit or AutoCAD to translate concepts, sketches, and design specifications into precise layouts, ensuring design and structural standards are met, working in collaboration with others to revise drawings as needed throughout the design process.

In this role, you will

• Be responsible to translate concepts and sketches into models for Architectural use.
• Ensure the models produced meet design and structural standards as per prescribed standards.
• Work with the Architecture Team and others to iterate models in support of the activities necessary to produce final plans for use by the Homebuilding Team.
• Properly document all necessary information for the drafting process.
