Charter Homes & Neighborhoods is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join our Architecture Team in Lancaster. The role focuses on translating concepts into architectural models, ensuring designs meet standards, and documenting all drafting details.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Architectural Drafter to join our growing company as a member of our Architecture Team. As a Charter Homes and Neighborhoods Team member, you will play an important role in helping us make our mark by setting a new standard for how our country looks and people live, making them feel special by building homes and neighborhoods with character that they will truly love.

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial architectural drafting, responsible for delivering complete architectural plans on schedule and according to standards.

Key Job Activities

• Translate concepts and sketches into models for architectural use.
• Ensure that models meet design and structural standards as per prescribed standards.
• Work with the Architecture Team and others to iterate models in support of the activities necessary to produce final plans for use by the Homebuilding Team.
• Properly document all necessary information for the drafting process.
