Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking an Architectural Designer with a design/technical focus to join our multi-disciplinary team. You will support the Project Architect/Designer in design, detailing, and documentation, contributing to client presentations and project graphics while growing your architectural skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture; Accredited program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related professional experience.
• Actively pursuing Architectural Registration in the United States preferred.
• Strong portfolio, communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural support to Project Architect or Project Designer.
• Build physical building models.
• Produce architectural documentation under guidance.
• Prepare graphics for client presentations.
• Participate in research initiatives as directed.
• Assist project leadership from conceptual design through construction documents.
• Participate in the architectural design process in a support role.
• Review shop drawings under the Project Architect guidance.
• Respond to client questions with supervisory guidance.
• Work in REVIT to produce plans, elevations and sections.
• Coordinate project documents with other disciplines.
• Attend project team meetings and presentations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
