Job summary

STV Incorporated in Owings Mills, MD is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Buildings division and contribute to both new construction and renovations. You will work with an architectural/engineering team from concept design through construction documentation, coordinating with project disciplines and ensuring constructible detailing.

The ideal candidate has a professional degree in Architecture with 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in BIM 360 / Revit and Office, and

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in BIM 360 / Revit and Microsoft Office.
• AutoCAD, Enscape, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Progress toward architectural licensure encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings from concept through construction documentation.
• Coordinate with building technology and specifications writer.
• Conduct site and construction inspections for information gathering.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise work of junior architects.
• Ensure conformance with standards and codes.
