Job summary

Clark Nexsen is seeking an Architectural Designer II to independently perform architectural assignments and support medium to large projects. You will contribute to design development, documentation, and coordination while collaborating with teams and traveling to project sites as needed.

The role emphasizes applying architectural principles, using Revit, Rhino, Enscape, and Adobe CC, and delivering high-quality drawings and models with supervision from senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a NAAB-accredited Architecture program.
• 6+ years of related architecture experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.
• Understanding of building codes and sustainability requirements.
• Willingness to travel for project site work.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced architectural concepts to develop quality design solutions.
• Prepare drawings and construction documentation per standards and codes.
• Use BIM/graphics software to develop drawings, models, and visualizations.
• Develop specifications aligned with construction documents and technical requirements.
• Research building codes and sustainability requirements to inform design decisions.
• Participate in client meetings and prepare presentation materials.
• Perform quality control reviews of design and documents.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to professional growth.
• Travel to project sites as required.
