Job summary

AnchorCM in Missouri City, TX is seeking a Designer II to join our office-based design team. You will support project development from concept through construction, using CAD tools to create precise drawings and models.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture or environmental design with 2–4 years’ experience, strong visualization skills, and a collaborative mindset to coordinate with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an architectural or design firm, contributing to complex projects.
• Proficiency with CAD software and strong design/graphics presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Send timely reports to Assistant Project Managers and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in coordinating permits and project compliance with regulations.
• Create and review architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using CAD tools.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, zoning, and accessibility standards.
• Assist with site analysis, space planning, and material selection within budget constraints.
• Prepare construction documents with drawings, specs, and schedules for contractors.
