STV's Washington, DC Architecture practice seeks an Architectural Designer II with 5-8 years of professional experience to support a growing portfolio of transportation, civic, federal, institutional, and other complex building projects.

The candidate will contribute to design development through construction documentation, collaborate with project architects and engineers, and increasingly own drawing packages while advancing BIM with Revit.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 5-8 years of professional architectural experience with design development and construction documents.
• Experience assembling and coordinating architectural drawing sets with proper hierarchy and specs.
• Knowledge of building systems interfaces and constructability principles.
• Familiarity with building codes, accessibility, and life-safety principles.

Responsabilités

• Develop architectural construction documents including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Coordinate drawing sets across discipline teams and ensure consistency.
• Develop and maintain Revit models, sheets, schedules, and annotations.
• Support code compliance and accessibility requirements in documentation.
• Assist with construction administration support and RFIs.
