Job summary

MetroNational, a Houston-based real estate investment, development, and management company, seeks an Architectural Designer to join the team from concept through completion. You will work with leadership and project managers to develop design documents for complex development projects and help convey the vision using advanced digital tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited program required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the production of concept, schematic and design development documents.
• Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Suite and rendering software (Enscape, Lumion).

Responsibilities

• Develop design drawings with leadership and PMs for layouts, plans and details.
• Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections and details.
• Create 2D and 3D presentation drawings and materials.
• Produce digital models for project team review.
• Conduct design computations and data compilation.
• Assist with materials selection and system research.
• Work with the project team to meet schedule and budget constraints.
• Familiarize with building and life safety codes and their application.
