Job summary

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Facilities practice in Annapolis, MD. You will create construction documents and interiors CAD drawings under a Project Architect, supporting building design from concept through detailing.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or certificate in architectural drafting, 2–8 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in CAD, Revit, and AutoCAD. Strong writing and team collaboration are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in architectural drafting or equivalent.
• 2–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
• ADDA certification preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software; experience with Revit and AutoCAD preferred.
• Knowledge of building design, specifications, and construction documents.
• Proficient in technical writing and strong verbal/written communication; able to interact effectively within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD software to create construction documents and detailed designs of buildings and interiors under guidance of a Project Architect.
• Assist with building conditions assessments, reports, and field documentation for projects.
• Assist with building code reviews and compliant studies under guidance of a Project Architect.
• Verify construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.
