Base pay range

$86,100.00/yr - $144,700.00/yr

Primary Function

The Level 4/5 Designer role requires an individual passionate about collaboration, critical thinking, professional growth, and great design, with experience in the Mission Critical market sector. The position involves working in a hybrid environment, applying talents across all project phases from development to construction administration, within an interdisciplinary team including HED engineers, architects, and outside consultants.

Responsibilities

1. Lead design teams to ensure high-quality design within schedule and budget.
2. Consider ordinance and code requirements for projects.
3. Conduct material and product research for project development.
4. Create presentations, reports, narratives, and enhance graphics and 3D representations.
5. Develop data center design, including project organization, program spaces, and prototypes.
6. Develop master plans and entitlement packages.
7. Create site test fits and building layouts based on project goals.
8. Implement big ideas and improve sector efficiency and quality.
9. Use generative design and automation tools to create Revit models and plan iterations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture or equivalent.
• Licensure preferred or actively pursued.
• LEED or WELL accreditation preferred.
• At least eight years of relevant experience, with leadership in design efforts.
• Strong planning, design, and graphic skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in BIM/Revit, Microsoft Office; experience with Rhino, InDesign, Illustrator, Bluebeam, Revizto preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work under deadlines.

Physical Requirements

• Travel capability for site visits and meetings.
• Ability to access project sites and use communication technology.
• Visual acuity for responsibilities.
