Job description

Fully REMOTE ( Consultant Must be Local to California State )

Responsibilities :

  • Design and maintain enterprise-level architecture for Epic applications.
  • Translate business needs into scalable Epic solutions.
  • Lead system integration and interoperability with Epic and third-party systems.
  • Oversee Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization efforts.
  • Mentor Epic analysts and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and performance standards.
  • Document system architecture, data flows, and technical designs.
  • Collaborate across clinical, operational, and IT teams to align Epic solutions with organizational goals.

Requirements :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Certifications : Epic certification(s) in relevant module(s) required; architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) a plus.
  • Experience :

7+ years in Epic systems, including 3+ in an architect or lead role.

  • Strong knowledge of Epic architecture, workflows, and integrations (HL7, FHIR, APIs).
  • Proven experience with Epic implementations or optimization projects.
