Job summary

Otak is seeking a Design Technician to join our Architecture Studio in Denver, CO. You will prepare presentation materials, models, renderings, and construction documents, supporting design through all phases.

Under the mentorship of a Project Architect, you will collaborate across disciplines to develop strategies, details, and coordinated drawings while growing your architectural knowledge and skills in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 3 to 8 years of professional architectural experience.
• Proven ability to develop innovative design solutions.
• Collaborative communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of BIM and project delivery methods.
• Knowledge of building materials and construction details.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects as a fully integrated member of the design team at all design phases.
• Understand project design philosophy and contribute to building performance strategy.
• Create BIM models, technical drawings, renderings, and other documents for meetings and submittals.
• Coordinate design with internal and external teams and manage building systems coordination.
• Develop architectural details and construction documents for design reviews and construction.
• Support field verification and record documentation.
• Review submittals and samples for conformance with design.
• Maintain client and consultant communications across project phases.
• Collaborate with Otak disciplines and project stakeholders.
